What characterizes the work of natural history museums, what tasks do they have and what are their scientific collections used for? The special exhibition “Land - Coast - Sea” addresses these questions and tells stories from the natural history collections of the eleven museums of the North and Baltic Sea Region Museum Association (NORe). After a successful premiere in Rostock in 2017, the exhibition has so far been shown at the Landesmuseum Natur und Mensch in Oldenburg (2019), the Museum für Natur und Umwelt in Lübeck (2020) and the Müritzeum in Waren (2021).
