The VernetZoo database was developed from a joint DFG project (funding number: JO-134/14-1) by five museums in the North and Baltic Sea region. On this portal you can search the Palaearctic beetles from the collections of the Natural History Museum Bielefeld (Namu), the State Natural History Museum (SNHM) in Braunschweig, the Zoological Institute and Museum of the University of Greifswald (ZIMG), the Center for Natural History (CeNak) in Hamburg and the Lower Saxony State Museum for Nature and Man (LMNM) in Oldenburg. The accessible collections and collection object groups are to be expanded.
